Spa Policies
A few rules and regulations that you should know when visiting my spa
01. Payments
I accept all major credit cards, Zelle, and cash. Personal checks are accepted from established clients only. A $30 fee applies to all returned checks. If a check is returned, future payments must be made using one of the other accepted payment methods.
03. Gift certificates
MODO Spa gift certificates may be redeemed toward any treatment or skincare product. Each gift certificate comes with a complimentary, beautifully handcrafted envelope of your choice, with designs available for birthdays, anniversaries, thank-you gifts, and other special occasions. Gift certificates are valid for five years from the date of purchase.
05. Visiting Rules
To ensure a safe, peaceful, and distraction-free environment, additional guests, including family members and children of any age, are not permitted in the spa during treatments. The only exception is a teenage client accompanied by one parent. This policy allows me to provide every client with my undivided attention while maintaining a relaxing and private experience.
02. Gratuity
As an independent spa owner, I do not expect gratuities. All treatment prices are final, with no hidden fees or additional charges. If you appreciate my services, your referrals are always welcome and sincerely appreciated. I am happy to reward you for recommending MODO Spa to friends and family.
04. Personal hygiene
To maintain a clean, fresh, and comfortable environment in my private, single-treatment-room spa, I kindly ask all clients to arrive with proper personal hygiene. This includes clean underarms, appropriate deodorant, and clean, odor-free footwear. These guidelines are essential for maintaining a pleasant experience for everyone. I reserve the right to decline future appointments if personal hygiene standards are repeatedly not observed.
06. Rescheduling policy
Because I schedule no more than two facials per day, every appointment represents a significant amount of time reserved exclusively for you. I kindly request at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations and missed appointments are subject to the following rescheduling fees:
First occurrence: $25
Second occurrence: $50
Third and subsequent occurrences: $100
All rescheduling fees must be paid before another appointment can be booked. If you choose not to reschedule, no fee is required.
Late Arrivals: Your treatment will still end at the originally scheduled time out of respect for my next client. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, I reserve the right to cancel the appointment if insufficient time remains to perform the treatment properly. The applicable rescheduling fee will then apply.
These policies allow me to maintain the personalized, unhurried experience that defines MODO Spa. Thank you for respecting my time and the time reserved for every client.
